Magical Pumpkin Patch 2012

During the middle of October, we enjoyed a very exciting activity with Ms West!  She came to our class and told the kindergarten students about magical pumpkin seeds!  She also brought with her some magical seeds and took us outside to plant these special seeds.  We had to repeat the words...

Magic
seeds,
magic
seeds...
Grow,
Grow,
GROW!

After we said the magic words, and planted the magic seeds, we watered them with sparkly, magic water!  Now we will wait for them to grow special pumpkins for us!

YAY!  Our special day finally came... Ms West hurried to our classroom to tell us the good news!

Wow! Our magic pumpkins did grow!
They were so beautiful, all covered in glitter and even had our names on each of them!

Our Magical Garden had scarecrows! At first we weren't sure if they were alive or not!  Soon we realized that Ms Howard, and Miss Lyn-Nell came to join in the celebration of our magical pumpkins!

Here you can see the magic fairy dust tracks!
The rainy day did not dampen our happiness to see the pumpkins!

Miss Lyn-Nell came in to our classroom, so that we would
have a REAL scarecrow to draw!  Our drawings are amazing!

This is the poem that was on the back of our leaves that had our names printed on them.

These are some of our drawings!

This is Lyn-Nell!

The scarecrows looked fab, didn't they?
And look at those drawings by the Kindy's.....I am very impressed!
Thank you to Mrs. Petersson, Ms. West, Ms. Howard and Lyn-Nell for giving the kids a magical day.
