"I Wonder"

 This past week we had an "I wonder" moment together as a class.  I showed my Kindy's the crayons that had been glued to a white canvas, along with a blow dryer.  They predicted that the crayons would melt because the air from the blow dyer is hot.  They weren't exactly sure how the wax would look, but some compared the wax crayons to candles on a birthday cake!  Pretty clever for 4 and 5 year olds! They were pleased with the results, and fascinated that the wax would just stick on the canvas.  Our Grade 6 buddies happened to appear while we were outside doing this, and commented on how fun it was to watch their faces while the wax was melting.  A fun moment for so many reasons.
